Funds Update from Bill's Sister

Just wanted to update everyone on our fundraising. When I add all of the cash donations I have been given, the checks that have come through the PO Box and everything on Paypal, we have raised $12,464. I think this is fantastic! Thank you everyone. Please keep spreading the word! I did interviews with the Indiana Daily Student (IU's newspaper) and the Times Tribune (Alexandria's local newspaper) in the past couple of days, so if you are from either of those places, keep your eyes out for them. Most importantly, please continue to keep Bill in your thoughts.

With love and hope, Laura

Dear Laura,
I want to let you know how much we are driven to support Bill and your family.
We are the U.S. Military Spouses of American soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines stationed in Seoul Korea. We have quietly started to help raise awareness and funds on Bill's behalf. Even though your family is strong, we are fully aware of what it is like to be far from home and need support. Our strength is in spreading the word of Bill's struggle to our friends and family all over the world and recruiting assistance on every level. Currently, we know that the military chaplains corps is working tirelessly to help Bill with many aspects of care.
I wanted you to know that not only raising money for Bill's medical care is at the forefront of our mission but to get as much of a grassroots effort from all of the people that we know all over the globe to pitch in and give in anyway that they can.
It is all about power in numbers and we are doing all that we can to help your brother make the journey through recovery and back to his life of giving.

I wanted to let you know that we are with you and admire all that you are doing for Bill from half a world away... we will do what we can from this side of the Pacific and hope to see Bill smiling again very soon!!
Always,
